In 2023 a dear friend told me about a book she was reading called Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives, by Michael Newton, a PhD in Counseling Psychology and a certified Master Hypnotherapist. In his treatment of trauma some of his patients regressed beyond childhood - they were recounting vivid experiences not only of past incarnations, but also existence in “the afterlife” - the nonphysical consciousness of the Soul - what we commonly refer to as “heaven”.

I learned that Souls between incarnations are not just sitting around listening to angelic choirs! According to their many stories, the Soul is quite busy - healing, learning, manifesting, and evolving. In this realm our Souls have identity, intellect and understanding - enjoying humor, empathy and interaction with other Souls, who are part of our “core group”.

It was pretty ambitious of me to try to capture this realm musically, but I was so inspired by what I learned I just had to go ahead. What resulted is this album, which I humbly present to you.

I would also like to acknowledge the uniquely gifted Cash Peters who, on his YouTube channels, shares his insights on cross-overs,  transitions and consciousness.
