My dear friend Michael Patterson dedicated to me his arrangement of the Prayer of Saint Francis. Michael was a brilliant musician and teacher. In addition to church work and students, he was the founding music director of the Congressional Chorus in Washington DC for 2 decades, until his early death in 2005. As I was composing this album his arrangement was coming to mind with an urgency that I knew was him saying, "take my Prayer, make it your own - get it out into the World". So here is the Fisher version of the Patterson arrangement of The Prayer.
